Home / How we screen

Every respondent checked.
Only clean data gets through.

Every respondent passes through supplier scoring, our own StartZONE platform and an independent fraud layer before they reach your survey. Here’s how each step works.

Why it matters

We don’t own a panel. We have no reason to protect one.

A panel company screening its own respondents is grading its own homework. We sit across roughly 80 suppliers, so we can compare them honestly — and route toward the ones whose respondents hold up.

That neutrality is the point. When a supplier underperforms, we see it in the data and send them less work. Nobody else in the chain has that incentive.

The respondent path

Four checkpoints between a supplier and your survey.

  1. Step 01

    Supplier routing

Traffic comes from a vetted network of ~80 partners, weighted toward the suppliers whose respondents hold up on comparable work.

  2. Step 02

    StartZONE entry

Every entrant passes through our own platform: deduplicated across all suppliers on the project, with IP address and machine-ID checks.

  3. Step 03

    Fraud detection

An independent AI and behavioral fraud layer flags bots and fabricated respondents before they reach the questionnaire.

  4. Step 04

    Quality review

Responses that fail in-survey quality checks can be removed before delivery, and every removal is logged by supplier.

Supplier scoring

Every supplier is measured against its peers.

Partners are compared on the same project — same audience, same screener, same length — so differences reflect the supplier, not the study. Results roll up into four routing tiers.

  • A

    Preferred

Consistently clean on comparable projects. Routed first.

  • B

    Standard

Performs in line with peers. Routed normally.

  • C

    Restricted

Trailing peers on the same work. Limited volume.

  • D

    Watch

Materially worse than peers. Held back pending review.

Duplicates vs. fraud

Two different problems. Tracked separately.

A duplicate is a real person entering twice through different suppliers. Fraud is a bot or a fabricated respondent. We log them separately, so you know exactly why someone never reached your survey — and we know which suppliers cause which problem.

R-1043
Duplicate
IP address matches a respondent already in the study.

Questions

Common questions

Do you own a panel?

No. We source from a network of roughly 80 external supply partners. Because we don’t own a panel, we have no incentive to favor one supplier’s respondents over another’s.

What is StartZONE?

Our proprietary routing and screening platform, owned and run by ElevenMR. It sits between every supplier and your survey, deduplicating respondents across suppliers and running IP and machine-ID checks.

Why track duplicates and fraud separately?

They are different problems. A duplicate is a real person entering twice through different suppliers; fraud is a bot or a fabricated respondent. Keeping them apart tells you — and us — exactly which suppliers cause which problem.

How are suppliers scored?

Each partner is compared with the other partners on the same project — same audience, same screener, same length — so differences reflect the supplier, not the study. Results roll up into A–D routing tiers.

Does screening apply to phone and qualitative work?

[Confirm: how phone and qual respondents are verified — digital fraud scoring isn’t applied to phone partners.]
