Privacy policy

What we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Last updated: [Effective date — set at launch]

Eleven Market Research (“ElevenMR,” “we,” “us”) is a market research data-collection company based in Austin, Texas. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit elevenmarketresearch.com, request a bid, complete our supplier survey, work with us as a client or supply partner, or take part in a survey we field. It does not cover websites or services run by others, even if we link to them.

The short version

  • We collect what you choose to send us through our forms and email, plus basic technical data our hosting provider records when you visit.
  • We use it to respond to you, prepare bids, run projects, pay partners, and keep survey data free of fraud.
  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
  • We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and when the law requires it.
  • This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
  • You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time.

Information we collect

When you request a bid

Your name, company, work email, phone number (optional), details about the study you are planning, and any file you attach, such as a specification or questionnaire.

When you complete the supplier survey

Company and contact details for your primary, secondary and accounting contacts; information about your panel, services, coverage and audiences; membership and documentation answers; your invoicing address; payment terms; and, if you provide them, banking or payment details so we can pay invoices.

When you email or work with us

Your contact details and whatever you include in your messages, along with the business records needed to run projects, such as proposals, invoices and project communications.

When you visit the website

Our hosting provider automatically processes standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this to build profiles of individual visitors.

When you take part in a survey we field

We do not run our own panel. Survey participants come to us through our supply partners, who recruit them and hold their contact details. As participants pass through our routing and screening platform on the way to a survey, we process technical and session data: IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser characteristics (including a device identifier or fingerprint), the partner’s respondent ID, timestamps, and quality signals. We use this only to route participants to the right survey, remove duplicate entries across partners, detect bots and fraud, and measure partner quality. We do not receive participants’ names or contact details for this purpose, and we do not use this data to contact or market to them. Survey answers are collected for, and handled according to the instructions of, the client who commissioned the research.

How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries and prepare feasibility assessments and bids.
  • To deliver and manage research projects for clients.
  • To evaluate, onboard, communicate with and pay supply partners.
  • To protect data quality: deduplication, fraud and bot detection, and partner scoring.
  • To keep our website and systems secure and working properly.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to enforce our agreements.
  • If you ask to receive them, to send occasional updates about our work. You can unsubscribe at any time.

For people in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and performing a contract; our legitimate interests in running and securing our business and in ensuring research data is genuine; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent where we ask for it, such as for email updates.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers that process it on our behalf under contract. These include website hosting and security (Cloudflare), our database and form storage (Airtable), email and office software (Google Workspace), and data-quality and fraud-detection services used in survey screening [confirm the current fraud-detection vendor(s)].
  • Clients and supply partners, to the extent needed to run a project. For example, we may tell a partner which of its respondent IDs were removed as duplicates or flagged as fraud.
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, under a duty of confidentiality.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect the rights, property or safety of ElevenMR, our clients, partners or others.
  • Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with the recipient bound by this policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and our fonts are hosted on our own site rather than loaded from third parties. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technologies to protect the site from attacks. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. Our survey-screening platform uses device and browser characteristics to detect duplicate and fraudulent entries, as described above.

Some pages link to other sites, such as LinkedIn or our scheduling calendar. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

How long we keep information

  • Bid requests and related emails: as long as needed to respond and maintain a business relationship, and generally no longer than [3] years after our last contact.
  • Supply partner records: for as long as we work together and afterwards as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes. We delete banking details when they are no longer needed to pay invoices.
  • Survey screening data: for as long as needed to deduplicate, detect fraud, measure partner quality and support our clients’ projects, and generally no longer than [24 months].
  • Accounting records: for the period required by law.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. These include encrypted connections to our website, access controls that limit sensitive records (such as banking details) to the people who need them, and reputable service providers with their own security programs. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send passwords or other highly sensitive information through our forms. If you prefer, banking details can be shared directly with our accounting team by a method you agree with them.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK addendum, or our providers’ certifications under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct information that is inaccurate;
  • delete your information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where we rely on it;
  • receive your information in a portable format; and
  • appeal a decision we make about your request.

To make a request, email info@elevenmr.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will respond within the time the law requires, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If you took part in a survey, the supply partner that invited you holds your contact details and account. Contact that partner to manage your membership. If you want to ask about data our screening platform processed, email us with the survey date and the partner you came through so we can find the records.

Children

Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. [Confirm: if you field studies with participants under 18 (for example, high school students), describe how partners obtain parental consent and how that data is handled.]

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
